"빌딩 사이로 훔쳐보기"

때때로 생각지도 못한 순간에 그야말로 '결정적인' 순간을 만나는 때가 있다.

언제 어디선가 불쑥, 완벽한 시간에, 완벽한 각도로 내리는 태양광에, 완벽한 각도로 서 있는 건물에.

만일 거기에 의외의 프레이밍까지 함께 그 시공에 자리하고 있다면,

그 때에는 내 손에 라이카가^[각주:1] 들려있지 않은 것을 땅을 치며 후회해야 할 것이다.

이 사진을 촬영한 날도 그런 날이었다. 그냥 차를 타고, 조금 일찍 퇴근해서 집으로 향하던 길이었다.

이 날은 딸아이가 감기가 심해져서 병원에 함께 데리고 가려고 조기 퇴근을 했다.

해가 짧아져서 좀처럼 멋진 노을을 얻기 어렵던 참이었다.

그런데 애플워치를 들여다 보니, 마침 시간이 해가 지기 30여분 전 즈음이었다.

집에 가는 곡선 램프에서, 그 시간의 태양을 꽤나 좋은 각도로 바라보고 있는 한 건물의 파사드를 발견했다.

'아 찍어두면 참 좋을텐데..' 라고 생각했지만, 왕복 2차선 도로에서 무단정차를 하기는 너무하다는 생각이 들었다.

결국 집에 도착해서, 아쉬운 마음을 달래며 중정에 잠시 들러 주변을 둘러보았다.

그런데 저 멀리, 조금 뉘엇해진 태양광의 입사방향을 정확하게 바라보고 있던 그 파사드가 눈에 들어왔다.

여기서도 저 건물을 볼 수 있을 줄이야.

좌우로 올라선 건물들이 길고 가느다란 프레임을 만들고 있었다.

시간은 해가 지기 20여분 전이었고, 램프를 지나며 보았던 하늘보다 더 예쁜 핑크/보라로 물들어 있었다.

이러니 꽤 간만에 보는 노을이 더 반가울 밖에.

"Peeking through the Buildings"

Sometimes, there's a moment that you encounter with 'decisive' moment.

Somewhere, some perfect time, with perfect angle of sunlight, perfect angle of buildings.

If there's an odd frame for photo too, I mean in that exact space and moment,

You better regret that you don't have a Leica^[각주:2] in your hands.

The day I capture this image, is the day like that I mentioned. I was just going back to home with driving my car.

It was an early return, because my daughter caught a cold that day.

These days, it was really difficult to meet sunset cause sun was too short.

But that moment, when I looked my Apple Watch, it was almost exactly an half hours before the sunset.

At the ramp where is in the way to go home,

I was found a facade of one building which was facing the sun of that exact time in pretty nice angle.

I thought that it was a perfect time to take pictures of that beautiful moment.

But I was in the middle of the one-way road, so I gave up to take that scene.

Eventually, when I arrived at home, I was walking inside of roof garden of my apartment.

Soon, I found that facade of building which was facing the exact angle of sunlight at that moment.

I was surprised that I could see it again.

Two buildings which was there, were making a narrow-tall frame.

The time was about 20 minutes before the sunset, and the sky was colored with more beautiful pink-violet color.

This made my sunset more nicer.
