언젠가 그런 이야기를 한 적이 있다.
언젠가 백발이 정정한 노인이 된다면, 아내와 함께 풍광이 좋은 곳에 가서 살고 싶다고.
아내를 만나고, 조건이 하나 늘었다. 그래도 살기에 불편함은 없도록, 문명의 바람은 부는 곳이면 좋겠다는.
딸을 만나고, 조건이 하나 더 늘었다. 원한다면 딸아이 가족도 함께 가서 살아도 좋겠다는.
제주는, 그런 곳이었다. 풍광이 좋고, 문명의 바람도 부는 곳. 딸 아이 부부를 함께 데리고 가도 좋을만한 곳.
저 멀리서 지는 해를 보면서 언젠가 이 곳에 와서 살 수 있을까, 생각했다.

One day, I had talked about a life after retirement.
The story is this: Later, when I become a silver-haired old man,
I want to live somewhere out there where the sun and wind is sweet.
After I met my wife, a condition added . Least, there has to be a civilization.
And after we met our little daughter, one more condition added.
We could take our daughter and her future family if they want to come with us.
Jeju is the perfect place to match all those conditions. It's the place where sun and wind is sweet,
where is civilized, and where is nice enough to take our daughter's future family.
With seeing the sunset of Ae-Wol beach, I thought that it could be nice to live here some later day.
