"Not Always Boring"

한 번 가 보았던 곳, 한 번 해 보았던 것을 반복하면 지루하기 마련이다.
하지만 때때로 어떤 장소, 어떤 것은 여러 번 반복해도 지루하지 않다.
나와 내 아내에게 로마는, 몇 번이고 다시 방문해도 재미있을 것만 같은, 그런 곳이다.
처음에는, 로마를 지루하고, 혹은 재미없는 곳일 것이라고 생각했다.
그것은 아마도 로마에 도착하기 전까지 있었던 많은 곡절들 - 비행기를 놓친다던지 - 때문일지도 모르겠다.
하지만 도착해서 만났던 로마는, 낭만이 있는 완벽한 도시였다.
두 발자국 건너 보이는 건물마다 역사가 묻어있었던 도시, 버스 창 밖으로 천 년 전의 유물을 지나칠 수 있는 도시,
오래된 것들과 새로운 것들이 만나는,
영원한 도시 로마.
로마는, 몇 번이고 반복해도 지루할 수 없는 완벽한 우리의 도시였다.

A Place where has already visited, a stuff that has already experienced, could become boring, maybe.
But some place, some stuff is never gets boring.
To me and my wife, Rome, is the place where feels like never be boring.
At first, we misunderstood about Rome - like as nothing special -.
Maybe those misunderstandings caused by few things that happened in our journey to Rome - like flight missing -.
But the Rome we finally met, was the city of romance, perfect city.
There were histories in every two steps away, there was a possibility to miss ancient remains outside of bus' window,
the place that old things and new things are encountering,
Rome, the eternal city.
Rome, was the city that could never be boring, was the perfect city for us.
